Will uOGlobal interfere with my studies?

Accepted Answer

No, all workshops are held on weekends, and online modules can be completed at your leisure. In fact, you may be able to use some of the activities you completed prior to registering in uOGlobal to fulfil programme requirements.

Question 2

What should I do if I won’t be able to complete all the program requirements within one academic year?

Accepted Answer

You can complete the first group of mandatory activities during the Fall semester of this academic year and the remaining activities during the Winter semester of the following academic year (i.e., you can take up to two full academic years to complete the uOGlobal recognition program). This means you'll have until the end of the second academic year's Winter term to finish all of the program's activities and requirements. This year, you will be enrolled in the fall semester and the winter semester of your second year of study.

How many programs offer the CO-OP option?

Accepted Answer

More than 80 different programmes offered the CO-OP option. It's available in four-year undergraduate programmes at the faculties of Arts, Law, Engineering, Science, and Social Sciences, as well as at the Telfer School of Management and some master's programmes.

Question 4

If we want to change programs, can we wait until September to do it?

Accepted Answer

When you arrive in September, you will not be able to change programmes or add an option. Starting March 1st, you will be able to request a change to an Engineering programme for the next time. However, beginning October 1st, you will be able to request a change to a programme in the Arts, Science, or Social Sciences.

Will I find employment more easily by completing the CO-OP Program?

Accepted Answer

It's very likely that this will be the case. When you've gained experience and skills through CO-OP placements, it's much easier to find full-time work. In fact, some of our students are able to secure full-time employment before they graduate.
