Yes, you can apply for a deferral of your sentence. Please do not accept your offer, and submit your deferred admission request within three days of receiving it.

Registered students may apply to change courses if they have met the matriculation requirements for the course they want to change by earning the required Leaving Certificate points or equivalent.

Is it possible to transfer to a different program after a year at UCC?

Internal transfers may be possible in some situations, but in the vast majority of cases, an applicant must apply through the CAO and compete for a first-year place.

What is the minimum age to attend UCC?

CAO applicants for full-time degrees must be 17 years old by January 15th of the year after their admission to UCC. If you are under this age, you must submit a written request to the Admissions Officer for an exemption from the age limit, which should ideally be accompanied by a letter of support from the School Principal and a parent.
