Post Study Work VISA
You can apply for the following two types of post study work permits in Poland.
- Temporary Residence Card:
- If you decide to stay and work but haven’t found a job after your studies, you can apply for a temporary residence permit. This permit is issued directly after graduation and is valid for 9 months.
- Required documents include your Polish university graduation diploma, health insurance, financial proof, proof of residence (e.g., registration confirmation or apartment rent contract), valid passport, and passport photo.
- The processing time for this permit is approximately one month.
- Poland Work Visa:
- This permit is necessary for foreign individuals working for a Polish employer.
- Once you secure a job contract and before your temporary residence card expires, your employer should initiate the process.
- The validity of your temporary residence and work permit depends on the employment contract (up to 3 years).
